Davi Kaur Khalsa, CNM, WHNP, MSN
Los Angeles Midwife Davi Kaur Khalsa has served and empowered birthing women in the greater Los Angeles for more than thirty years. Starting as an RN in neonatal ICU and labor and delivery, and then becoming one of Los Angeles premier labor doulas and childbirth educators. For the last twenty-two years she has been one of Los Angeles’ most prominent homebirth Midwives. Davi is certified by the American College of Nurse Midwives, and works closely with several prominent OBGYN doctors in Los Angeles, Beverly Hills, and across the greater Los Angeles area. In 2011 Davi was presented with a lifetime achievement award from the Doulas Association of Southern California, for her dedication to the empowerment of birthing mothers.
Michelle Gerber, ND, CPM
Michelle Gerber is a licensed and board certified Naturopathic Doctor in the state of California and Oregon. She is also a Certified Professional Midwife and is licensed as a midwife in California and Washington state. Michelle grew up in Illinois and graduated from college, Summa Cum Laude, before attending naturopathic medical school at Bastyr University near Seattle, Washington, where she also received training and certification in midwifery.
While at Bastyr she received numerous awards, including the Bechtel, Metagenics, Fred Smart, University and Bastyr Student Scholarships. Michelle trained extensively in midwifery and pediatrics with Seattle Natural Family Medicine. After naturopathic medical school she traveled to Vanuatu in the South Pacific and delivered babies at a developing hospital before completing a rigorous family practice residency at the National College of Naturopathic Medicine in Portland, Oregon.
